How you can support LGBTQ+ Ukrainian refugees in the US
On 4 am February 24, 2022, Russia again brutally attacked Ukraine, this time unlike the invasion in 2014 when Russia annexed Crimea, the attack was much more aggressive, murdered, and massive. Ukrainian LGBTQI+ community is even more volrnebal than others because LGBTQI activists are always more visible, vocal, and pushy on Human Rights issues, and the Russian army, and special forces targeting Ukrainian LGBTQI+ activists as a priority target for the kill. Kremlin even creates a kill list for activists, and advocates to demoralize Ukrainian civil society.
Most Ukrainian LGBTQ community stay in Ukraine, serve in the army or army volunteers, organized and operate humanitarian projects, organize shelters etc. An anyway small group of Ukrainian LGBTQI+ looking for a safe space in the US and need our help.
